Solana based memecoin project Slerf (SLERF), announced that the tokens allocated for pre-sale have been burned. Here are the details!

With Bitcoin reaching new peak levels, interest in the cryptocurrency industry continues to increase every day. Lately, there’s a memecoin frenzy that is gaining the attention of investors.

The huge rises in memecoins based on Solana (SOL) attracted attention to this category. As the Solana network grows rapidly, a significant share of the market volume continues to shift to memecoins.

Burned $10 Million Worth SOL!

The Solana-based memecoin project Slerf (SLERF) announced on social media that they accidentally burned approximately 5,171,020 SOL, worth $10 million, collected for pre-sale.

The participants who sent SOL to the team to benefit from the pre-sale could not receive any SLERF. Following this development, a sharp rise and then a decline were observed.

Slerf stated in their post that there was nothing they could do to fix the situation, they were very sorry and they didn’t know what to do.

Guys I fucked up. I burned the LP and the tokens that were set aside for the airdrop.

Mint authority is already revoked so I can not mint them.

There is nothing I can do to fix this.

I am so fucking sorry.
