Former President Donald Trump's holdings in the $TRUMP memecoin have surpassed $1 million, according to cryptocurrency data tracker Arkham.
Trump received an initial $7.1K of $TRUMP from the $TRUMP memecoin team between August and October 2023. With the subsequent tokens sent, the value of all of these has now skyrocketed to over $1.07 million, marking a staggering 150-fold increase.
However, these tokens were transferred to Trump against his will, meaning these tokens were not purchased by Trump's team.
Most of Trump's $TRUMP tokens were acquired shortly after his address was tagged by Arkham on August 16, 2023. At midnight on August 19, 469 thousand $TRUMP, worth 5.6 thousand dollars at that time, were transferred to him. Two months later, he received additional $TRUMP tokens worth approximately $1,500.
While $TRUMP's current value is $1.90, Trump's assets have increased by a staggering 15,000%.
