Polkadot (DOT) has made another exciting move in its ecosystem with the release of Staking Dashboard 1.1. Ross BULAT, an engineer at Parity Technologies responsible for the development of Polkadot, spoke about this upgrade. The new staking dashboard offers Polkadot stakers more intuitive reporting of what's ongoing in the ecosystem, he said.
One of the features of this upgrade is the ability to immediately see 14 days of validator activity on the Polkadot network. The new staking dashboard also supports light clients, as well as enabling asynchronous synchronization. To provide users with as much accurate information as possible, Polkadot's staking dashboard will show the validator with the best performance by default.
At the time of writing, DOT is trading at $4.34, up 3.23% in the last 24 hours. DOT trading volume increased by 61%, bringing the trading value to $146,692,318. This week, Polkadot is among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The asset jumped 8% during this period, highlighting the readiness to retest the $5 resistance point in the near future.
