General Update

Neo Global Development rescheduled the date of the APAC Hackathon finale, now taking place in Hong Kong to Oct. 27 and 28. The online submission deadline for any participant – either those who did or didn’t attend the GAS Stations – has also been extended to 3:59 p.m. (UTC) on Oct. 20.

Binance completed the migration of the NEO token from the Legacy network to N3 at block height 4,120,000, which took place on Sep. 20.

NeoDashboard released an LRB Fund stats and data tracking platform. The website, hosted on the NeoFS distributed storage network, displays information about the LRB Fund’s composition (i.e., percentage of FUSD, TIPS, SOM), the fund’s equivalent USD value, the LRB token price, and the LRB market capitalization.

Quirky Soul College shared an article teasing the release of the Hollow World Story, which will incorporate “storytelling NFTs” that will go live on Sep. 25. The new DAO-like dApp will allow QSC NFT holders to vote on the direction and next chapter of an ongoing story.

World of Elements founder Frank Coin released a video update showcasing the progress made on the RPG.

Poly Network released a statement that the team is restoring the network and will slowly roll out security upgrades. They said, “We are coordinating a comprehensive incentive plan to alleviate the losses experienced by both our ecosystem and users.” Reminder: no assets or users were impacted on the Neo N3 blockchain.

Neo Global Development shared a video showcasing highlights from the Bangalore GAS Station event that took place in Aug. 2023.

COZ CEO Tyler Adams was featured in a Blockster article discussing the successful reception of the OneBand non-fungible item activation at TOKEN2049.

COZ participated in a panel discussion on art and technology at a Colorado Motion Meetup. The panel comprised AR/VR and projection-mapping artists, alongside a COZ representative, to talk about how technology will be integrated into the upcoming mural festival called DENVER WALLS.

NNT released an article highlighting the successful OneBand ring activation at TOKEN2049, where Da Hongfei also participated in a main stage panel. Neo’s booth educated visitors about the Neo ecosystem and helped them interact directly with N3 MainNet via the OneBand rings. Approximately 260 rings were distributed to booth visitors. Once onboarded, booth visitors received an ITEM NFT asset bound to their OneBand ring in a non-custodial manner. Paired with the ITEM NFT was a dynamic OTTER NFT, a character named Otto that updated as users scanned into each station in the booth.
