Blockchain prediction platform, Augur, has seen approximately $10 million USD (68,300 Ethereum) in betting volume since it was launched in July 2018.
Over the years, users of the betting platform have staked more than $23.5m USD (1,320,229 REP) in total, on participation and disputes since the launch of the REP tokens.
According to a post by the team of the blockchain project, Augur v1 had the largest single matched bet on the 2018 US midterms election market in the world. The platform saw more than five folds in matched bets volume on the Canadian election market vs. Betfair.
The Augur v2, which at the moment is being worked on, is expected to become faster, cheaper and easier. The reason, according to the post, is to make Augur the best prediction platform worldwide.
