Recently co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, went on the YouTube channel "Hardcore Crypto" for an interview. In it he was asked about his thoughts on Bitcoin SV, which prompted him to call the coin a "scam," but he also questioned Binance and its swiftness to remove the coin.

The video begins with the host, Grey Jabesi, asking what Buterin thinks about Bitcoin SV and much of the recent controversy surrounding the coin.

Buterin doesn't mince words when he immediately comes back with "Obviously BSV is a complete scam," though he quickly turns the subject to the delisting of Bitcoin SV by Binance. He mentions that the exchange is "wielding a lot of centralized power," and touches on the high priced listing fees.

He then mentions his well known ire for centralized exchanges and talks about the vision he has for the future of decentralized exchanges. This is what makes up the majority of the rest of the conversation. Buterin lays out various "levels" of decentralization that an exchange can have.

While his opening comments are perhaps the most inflammatory, they are also the least explained. Clearly Buterin isn't very satisfied with what Binance is doing and seems to completely disregard Bitcoin SV, but he doesn't give much for viewers to chew on.

Will he go on to elaborate these points in a future video? Stick with Chepicap for all updates.
