On Monday, the mainnet of the Aptos Labs blockchain was launched, making it the first of the Facebook spinoff networks. The creators of the unsuccessful Diem stablecoin that Meta attempted to launch have come up with Aptos. The code for the Aptos blockchain is developed using Move, a Rust-based programming language popularised by Mysten Labs' Sui blockchain, another emerging network. https://twitter.com/AptosLabs/status/1582085109016014849 Aptos and Move establish a dynamic, developer-friendly environment that promotes seamless construction and serves as a sanctuary for thinkers and achievers. Move smart contracts offer secure development and are expandable for all Aptos applications.

Organizations to Introduce Technology on DeFi

Aptos Labs has proclaimed its network "active," but the ecosystem remains far from complete. Dozens of organizations still need to introduce the wallets, trading platforms, and non-fungible token technology necessary for decentralized finance (DeFi). On the blockchain labs, there won't be a lot to accomplish until they and a token make their debuts. After completing its "genesis transaction" on October 12, the blockchain is now operational. However, the infrastructure has been unstable. The much-discussed blockchain initially gained national attention in March after obtaining $200 million in a fundraising round headed by a16z. Prominent investors rushed to back the project, such as Tiger Global, Katie Haun, Multicoin Capital, FTX Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Binance Labs, and PayPal Ventures.

Ankr Becomes First RPC Provider to Aptos Blockchain

Yesterday, Cryptoknowmics reported that one of the top Web3 infrastructure service providers worldwide, Ankr, has revealed that it has joined the first group of RPC (Remote Procedure Call) suppliers to the blockchain lab. Developers may now contact the Aptos Testnet Community and Premium RPCs, submit requests, and obtain information returns identical to what they would get from running an Aptos full node independently. Through collaboration, programmers can create secure, expandable, and upgradeable dApps on top of the blockchain.
