OP Enterprise Adds Support for Soneium

OP Enterprise now supports Soneium with the day-to-day operations of its blockchain. Soneium is an entertainment-focused blockchain built for tokenized intellectual property, while OP Enterprise provides managed infrastructure services for blockchain networks.

The support covers deployment, sequencer operations, node infrastructure, monitoring, upgrades, and incident response. The Optimism Foundation and OP Labs will handle these operational tasks, while Soneium’s engineering team will remain involved in the chain and continue to control its roadmap.

The goal is to give Soneium’s developers more time to work on products built on the network. These include tools for Tokenized IP, on-chain royalty distribution, and AI-based applications for intellectual property.

Soneium already runs on the OP Stack, so the agreement does not create a new blockchain. Instead, it adds operational support around the existing network.

Under the fully managed OP Enterprise model, the service includes 24/7 incident response and a service-level agreement with a 99.9% monthly uptime target. Soneium keeps ownership of its chain and remains responsible for deciding how the network and its products develop.
