Popular cryptocurrency market analysis and tracking website CoinMarketCap.com has become the sponsor of Israel football side Beitar Jerusalem Football Club.

CEO of CoinMarketCap.com Luke Wagman took to twitter to show off their latest uniform, which sports the CoinMarketCap logo front and center on the football jerseys.

Thrilled to be featured on the Beitar Jerusalem Football Club’s uniforms yesterday in their match vs Atlético Madrid. They won 2-1! It is exciting to see crypto getting more mainstream attention. Special shoutouts to @moshehogeg @fcbeitar @carylyne @coinmarketcap #adoption pic.twitter.com/IspKQymhcp

The CoinMarketCap sponsorship becomes the latest in the sporting arena, with cryptocurrency and blockchain projects still making inroads into sports. Earlier this year Popular English Premier LEague side and Champions League Finalists, Liverpool, sent out invites to several cryptocurrency projects related to the next seasons sponsorship deals.

There is a good possibility that 2020 will see more blockchain projects making their way into sports sponsorship, something that Sirin Labs took to heart in 2018 when they made football star Lionel Messi a brand ambassador for Sirin Labs.

Football and crypto ;) getting there ;)
