Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it supports upcoming network upgrades and Hard Forks for IoTeX (IOTX) and Optimism (OP) to ensure a seamless user experience.

Binance Prepares to Support IoTeX (IOTX) and Optimism (OP) Network Upgrades and Hard Forks

The IoTeX (IOTX) network upgrade and Hard Fork is scheduled to occur at block height 28,516,681, approximately 02-19-2024 03:58.

Binance will begin suspending token deposits and withdrawals on the IoTeX (IOTX) network starting approximately 19-02-2024 03:00.

Similarly, Optimism (OP) network upgrade and Hard Fork will happen on 22-02-2024 03:00. Binance will begin suspending token deposits and withdrawals on the Optimism (OP) network starting approximately 21-02-2024 02:00.

Despite the temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals, trading of tokens on the IoTeX (IOTX) and Optimism (OP) networks will continue uninterrupted on the Binance platform.

Binance will take responsibility for all technical requirements regarding network upgrades and hard forks and will ensure a smooth transition for its users.

Upon successful completion of upgrades and stabilization of the networks, deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the IoTeX (IOTX) and Optimism (OP) networks will be reopened.
