Maple, an on-chain asset management company focused on digital asset lending, announced an integration with Tempo, a payments blockchain backed by Stripe and Paradigm. The partnership will make Maple’s syrupUSDC product available to fintech companies building on the Tempo network.

Through the integration, fintech platforms on Tempo will gain access to yield opportunities on stablecoin holdings directly within the infrastructure they already use. Companies that want to offer earning products based on stablecoins will be able to connect to syrupUSDC without building their own lending systems or searching for external yield providers.

According to the companies, fintechs can provide their users with yield on stablecoin balances through a single token and a single integration. Key functions such as loan underwriting, collateral management, and margin monitoring are handled through Maple’s smart contract infrastructure. This allows fintech companies to reduce development work and simplify risk management compared with creating a similar system independently.

The integration is already live and available to businesses operating on the Tempo network. Maple said the product is supported by its institutional lending program, which provides financing to professional borrowers in the digital asset sector.
