mb.io Brings Ghana Gold On-Chain

MultiBank Group crypto division mb.io announced a partnership with Kings Orbis, EON3 Group Ghana Ltd, and Mavryk to launch a tokenization program backed by physical gold from West Africa. The companies are building infrastructure for institutional investors to access tokenized gold through blockchain technology.

mb.io operates as a regulated crypto exchange and tokenization platform. Kings Orbis coordinates the programme structure, while EON3 Group supplies the gold. Mavryk provides the Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure and real-world asset technology for issuance, settlement, and trading.

The partners said every token will represent direct ownership of physical gold stored in Dubai under LBMA-approved custody. The project is designed with independent verification at every stage, including sourcing, refining, vaulting, and secondary market trading.

The initiative also includes tokenization of Gold Art collections inspired by Ashanti culture and crafted from physical gold. The project is connected to the Ashanti Kingdom in Ghana, historically known as one of West Africa’s largest gold-producing regions.
