STON.fi, an automated market maker on The Open Network (TON), has launched cross-chain swaps in its app. The new feature enables users to transfer stablecoins between TON, TRON, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Robinhood Chain through a single self-custodial interface.
The launch gives TON users access to liquidity across major stablecoin networks. At the same time, users from TRON and EVM-based chains can more easily access TON-native assets, DeFi protocols, and applications connected to Telegram.
The process is handled by Omniston, an execution layer developed by STON.fi. It connects users with independent liquidity providers and coordinates transactions between different blockchains. Most swaps are completed within 15–40 seconds. Users can also see the expected amount before confirming the transaction.
STON.fi says the system uses linked Hashed Timelock Contracts to ensure that both sides of a swap are completed together. If a transaction cannot be completed, the funds are returned to the user instead of remaining locked or being only partially transferred.
