Polygon to Improve DeFi Liquidity with Manifold

Polygon Labs, the core developer behind the Polygon ecosystem, has partnered with quantitative investment firm Manifold Trading to bring institutional-grade liquidity management and execution standards to decentralized finance.

Manifold will implement market-making and on-chain arbitrage strategies across major Polygon DEXs to improve price efficiency, reduce cross-venue discrepancies, and maintain continuous two-sided liquidity. The firm will also work with new DeFi protocols to ensure markets launch with sufficient depth for institutional participation.

The partnership supports Polygon’s broader initiative to strengthen DeFi market infrastructure, alongside projects like AggLayer for unified cross-chain liquidity and the upcoming gigagas update, which will reduce transaction finality to under five seconds.
