$NEAR Protocol (@NEARProtocol) has announced that @StellarOrg and its native $XLM token are now live on near.com. Users can deposit directly from Stellar's mainnet and swap into assets such as $USDC, with all transactions and activity confidential by default.
What the Integration Offers
The addition lets holders move Stellar assets onto the near.com platform without a separate bridging step. Deposits come straight from the Stellar network, and swaps can then be made against other assets, including $USDC.
Privacy is the main selling point. Public blockchains typically expose every holding and trade by default, and near.com positions itself as an alternative to that model. According to CoinMarketCap, $NEAR Protocol highlighted that $XLM and Stellar $USDC are live on $NEAR with confidential-by-default transfers, putting Stellar assets in front of another layer-1 community.
