- The fund plans to stake its $TRX holdings and pass 80% of staking rewards to shareholders.
Canary Capital’s staked Tron ETF is set to begin trading on the Cboe BZX Exchange on September 9, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Henry Jim. The fund will trade under the ticker TRXS and will give investors exposure to $TRX through a traditional exchange-traded product.
The ETF is designed to do more than track the price of Tron’s $TRX token. Under Canary Capital’s latest SEC filing, the fund plans to stake substantially all of its $TRX holdings through the Tron network. The staking rewards would be shared between the fund and service providers, with the trust retaining 80% of the rewards after staking fees.
