Arthur Hayes, one of the most controversial figures in the cryptocurrency market, made a bullish statement regarding an altcoin in his latest announcement.
Hayes claimed in a post shared via X that the price of Ethereum (ENA) would rise to $1. This statement came after the announcement that USDe, an Ethereum-linked stablecoin, would be listed by South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb.
Hayes has previously made similar bullish posts regarding ENA. At the time of writing, ENA is trading at $0.24.
However, Hayes controversially sold ENA in November, with an average selling price of $0.27.
Interestingly, onchain data revealed that Hayes made another altcoin purchase today. After a three-month hiatus, Hayes bought $499,000 worth of HYPE, the token of the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid. Hayes, who was recently pardoned by US President Donald Trump, had similarly sold all of his HYPE holdings at one point.
