The well-known crypto projects SingularityNET and Tenstorrent have just announced a very important collaboration for the AI world.

The two companies have combined their expertise to develop new hardware and software infrastructures with cognitive capabilities similar to those of humans.

These innovations will be implemented within the organization “Artificial General Intelligence” (AGI), through 3 distinct phases

All this will help expand the connections of artificial intelligence in the broad blockchain sector.

Let’s see all the details below.

Summary

Strategic crypto-AI world partnership between SingularityNET and Tenstorrent: enhanced AGI infrastructure

SingularityNET and Tenstorrent announced today a collaboration aimed at expanding the development of crypto AI applications.

The AI services blockchain platform and the leader in high-performance computing architecture are pushing their technologies towards new frontiers.

More specifically, the goal is to develop a hardware and software architecture capable of assimilating cognitive abilities similar to human ones

The partnership represents an innovative step towards the development of artificial intelligence systems, opening new potential frontiers for the crypto sector.

The process will take place in 3 phases:

Initially, the chip technology of Tenstorrent will be integrated into the AI platforms of SingularityNET with the aim of optimizing computational workloads.

These chip, which include the Blackhole and Wormhole server racks, are designed to handle complex calculations, such as automated DNN training and Large Language Model (LLM) inference.

In a second moment, Tenstorrent chips will be transformed into autonomous devices, significantly expanding research within AGI.

These systems leverage real-time decision-making powered by neural-symbolic artificial intelligence, enhancing their efficiency and accuracy in autonomous operations.

Finally, in the third and final phase, it will reach the point where the two companies will co-produce chip architectures optimized for AGI and for the entire AI sector.

These chips will transition from supercomputing nodes to edge devices, with a potentially revolutionary impact in industries such as robotics and healthcare.

Regarding the collaboration between the two parties, Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET, commented in a statement as follows:

“The next phase of progress in artificial intelligence will take us beyond the limits of LLMs towards a human-level AGI and increasingly powerful practical applications, and it will be accelerated by supporting advances in new computing architectures that go well beyond what NVidia is doing.”

The next generation of crypto hardware and AI software

The collaboration between SingularityNET and Tensorrent enables the creation of new state-of-the-art crypto hardware, opening new frontiers in the AI landscape

The neutral-symbolic approach of the artificial intelligence solutions developed by the two projects also implies a strengthening of the ASI coalition, introducing future implications. In this regard, we remind you that SingularityNET plays a key role in the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, a coalition dedicated to the responsible advancement of AI.

On the other hand, Tenstorrent represents a highly respected IT company that brings together various cryptographic experts from all over the world.

His connections reach several corporates, hedge funds, and VC such as Fidelity, Hyundai Motor Group, Eclipse Ventures, and Real Ventures

It is clear therefore that this news will have a direct impact on the entire AI sector, and not just on individual projects.

As mentioned, the integration of the respective technologies will continue in three phases, enabling the launch of new hardware and software architectures on a global scale.

In the first phase, already currently underway, Tenstorrent will coordinate on the AI research platforms of SingularityNET.

Following this, the phase that will introduce Blackhole technology into autonomous systems and robotics will begin.

Finally, we will see the latest joint development of chip architectures optimized for AGI, capable of interacting with supercomputing environments and edge devices.

Over time, both SingularityNET and Tensorrent will inform their respective communities about the latest news and milestones achieved.

Celebrating the beginning of an era that marks one of the major partnerships in the AI field, im Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent, reported the following

“I love people and companies with bold visions, which is why I am excited to collaborate with SingularityNET. Our open-source hardware and software stacks are perfect to use in pursuing their mission to accelerate the evolution of AGI.”

The CEO of SingularityNET, on the other hand, emphasized the perfection with which the two systems merge, opening new business scenarios:

“There is a beautiful synergy between the neural-symbolic AGI architectures we are working on in OpenCog Hyperon, SingularityNET, and ASI Alliance, and the close fusion between GPU and CPU that we see in Tenstorrent’s product pipeline. The partnership of SingularityNET with Tenstorrent brings together new software and new hardware in an extraordinarily well-matched way, ideal for catalyzing the next phase of the AGI revolution.”

SingularityNET and the transition to the Artificial Superintelligence Collective ASI

As mentioned, the partnership between SIngularityNET and Tensorrent is strengthened by the presence of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, a leading organization in the crypto AI world.

This group is formed by the coalition of the SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol projects, which are at the forefront in the development of ethical open-source technologies.
This decentralized alliance was announced in July 2024, with the intent to counter the growing monopoly of large multinationals in the management of computational computing.

Aligning incentives, ASI leads the vision of a decentralized, efficient, and transparent AI landscape, capable of capturing a share of the web3 market.

As part of the integration, the respective tokens of the AGIX, FET, and OCEAN projects are merged around a single, broader, and more comprehensive resource.

The holders of each of these crypto can use specific migration platforms to switch easily and securely to the new ASI coin.

In particular, the holders of AGIX and OCEAN must first go through FET, exchanging at a predetermined conversion rate.

Subsequently, the remaining FET in circulation will be automatically migrated to the ticker ASI.

Obviously, the migration contracts will remain open for a long time, allowing the entire community to review the update.

Despite this, however, the tokens of Singularitty NET and Ocean Protocol, AGIX and OCEAN, are about to be removed from the majority of centralized exchanges.

At this moment AGIX has a market cap of 650 million dollars while OCEAN stands at 345 million dollars.

FET, on the other hand, boasts a capitalization of over 3.2 billion dollars.

It is worth noting, however, that since the inauguration of the Artificial Superintelligence collective, none of the 3 crypto have reported positive performance in the market.

All are in drawdown compared to the July quotations, when the migration channels were opened.
