Polygon recently announced a strategic partnership with DraftKings, the well-known gaming operator. The collaboration will see both ventures promoting the adoption of Web3 and NFTs. In addition, Polygon will use DraftKings’ digital sports expertise to introduce a new set of audiences to NFTs.

The crypto market has been on a roll and the latest announcement further improved Polygon’s market position. That is why many traders opted for a comprehensive Polygon price prediction in the short run.

Polygon has already released the DraftKings Marketplace, a virtual collectibles platform that facilitates NFT-based airdrops and secondary transactions. Customers can go through the listings on the platform to participate in the events. Unfortunately, several NFT drops instantly went out of stock the instant they were dropped on the platform.

It included Preseason Access Collection NFT drops by Autograph of well-known athletes like Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Naomi Osaka, Derek Jeter, and Simone Biles.

DraftKings will also act as a validator for Polygon. The role will allow the sportsbook operator to add another layer of security to the network.

DraftKings has already joined several promising ventures like Decentraland, the Sandbox, Neon District, OpenSea, Atari, ZED Run, and more on Polygon.  The network showcases the enormous potential for the future with more than 100,000 blockchain gamers using Polygon globally.

The integration is another step for Polygon to bring cryptocurrencies and NFTs to the mainstream audience. Polygon Studios, Polygon’s NFT and gaming subsidiary, works on closing the distance between Web 3 and Web 2 gaming via marketing, developer, and investment support.

The channel has already helped several projects, and DraftKings will take the number even higher. As an esteemed gaming and sports entertainment company, DraftKings offers numerous industry-level sports and gaming products.

The regulated digital media and gaming platform was introduced in 2012 and operates in 17 countries. With such feats backing the platform, its market expertise is a given. Joining hands with DraftKings will undoubtedly help Polygon bring its L2 solutions to the general public.

The Polygon community is welcoming the integration, and it will certainly render great results for the market.
