The development brings XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Xumm payments closer to widespread adoption.
dBeastCo, a US-based nutrition e-commerce store and wellness brand, has incorporated Xumm payments into its platform. This new integration will enable customers to purchase various workout and dietary supplements with assets on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), including XRP.
dBeastCo announced the integration in a recent tweet. A platform snapshot shows that Xumm has already been added as a payment method. Other payment methods include Credit and Debit cards, Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal.
In response to the disclosure, Wietse Wind, Xumm developer and founder of XRPL Labs commended the effort.
You almost make me want to work out 😀

This move brings XRPL and Xumm payments closer to widespread adoption by allowing customers to leverage them for everyday purchases. According to its whitepaper, dBeastCo offers over 100 dietary supplements for its customers.
Positioned as a comprehensive lifestyle brand, dBeastCo offers a diverse range of products geared towards enhancing the well-being of individuals, such as workout and dietary supplements, motive NFTs, and clothing. The platform is building on the Flare Network and already accepts FLR and SGB as payment for its products.
The integration of Xumm payments comes as part of dBeastCo’s efforts to expand its payment options and cater to the growing demand for cryptocurrencies. Integrating Xumm, dBeastCo provides customers with a fast, secure, cost-effective payment option.
Moreover, Xumm payments are processed in real-time, making it possible for customers to receive instant payment confirmations. This is particularly important for businesses like dBeastCo that require fast payment processing to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently.
This development is also a significant milestone for Xumm, which is working towards achieving widespread adoption. As previously reported by The Crypto Basic, Xumm recently partnered with Ecwid, a leading e-commerce platform, to give over 1 million online stores an opportunity to accept XRPL payments. In February, Xumm collaborated with Friipay to bring XRPL payments to stores in the Netherlands.
