nChain CEO Jimmy Nguyen’s bComm Association, which actively promotes Bitcoin SV for merchants, has undergone a rebranding, now known as “Bitcoin Associates,” CCN reports.

The Bitcoin Association is kicking off the rebranding by offering free memberships to businesses and enterprises:

The new organization is also reportedly partnered with the defunct Bitcoin Foundation, which has been at the center of numerous scandals throughout its lifetime. It’s important to note that, despite the organization being called the Bitcoin Association, they aren’t referring to Bitcoin core, but instead Bitcoin SV.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the announcement hasn’t garnered much in the way of positive feedback:

During a recent interview, CNBC Crypto Trader host Ran NeuNer sat down with Craig Wright to discuss his recent reaffirmations that he is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto. In response to NeuNer’s question regarding Wright’s submission and the CFTC not being a court, and as such don’t really take testimonies under oath, Wright became agitated, shouting “Say it once more, and its over.”
