Exmo cryptocurrency exchange manager kidnapped

Pavel Lerner has been kidnapped in the city of Kiev, Ukraine’s capital. He is a top manager of the cryptocurrency exchange called Exmo, analytics manager, as pointed out by the company employees. According to the reports which appeared in the Russian and Ukrainian media, unidentified people forced him to get in the car (black Mercedes-Benz) and disappeared shortly after this happened. He was leaving his office in the Obolon district in Kiev. They were wearing balaclavas, which is making the investigation harder. But luckily, some reports contain the vehicle number: АА 2063 МТ.

The colleagues of the corporate analyst assured the press they are doing everything in their power to accelerate search, and the local police already confirmed the opening of the case on this abduction.

Simultaneously with this, Exmo’s website was trying to withstand against the massive DDoS attack this Thursday, which might not be a coincidence. The exchange was established in 2013 and has 46 trading pairs, with 94,955 active users.

Apart from being a lead analyst for Exmo, Pavel Lerner is also known in Russia as a blockchain expert.
