The Swiss Stock Exchange SIX To List ETP Based On Bitcoin Cash

08 July 2019 14:02, UTC

The Swiss Stock Exchange SIX will list an exchange traded product (ETP) based on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which is offered by Amun AG.

It is alleged that BCH ETP is supported by Roger Ver himself. The estimated cost of the product is about $10,000,000, based on the current market rates. Since the product will be listed on SIX, it will be available to everyone who has the right to trade on the platform. However, there are restrictions, such as a ban on trading to US users.

Recently, SIX saw the launch of the "Bitwise 10 Select Large Cap Crypto Index." This index is based upon the top 10 largest cap coins on the market now. This is the first ETP from SIX or any market to be based upon BCH alone.

Roger VER commented on this initiative:

"Bitcoin Cash is becoming a game changer in the crypto ecosystem and beyond, and Amun will help solidify its global adoption. We are confident that our investment in the new Amun BCH ETP will set the example and drive more investors to join the growing community which believes in the success of Bitcoin Cash."

This is definitely a successful step forward for BCH, and may well expose the coin to a larger institutional and retail audience.
