Revolut, a $33 bln UK digital bank, has cut fees for customers in the United States on a number of products. Revolut US customers will now be able to trade up to $200,000 worth of cryptocurrency per month with no transaction fees charged. Previously, Revolut users were able to trade for as little as $200 per month with no fees charged.

Other changes allow users to withdraw a certain amount of money per month, send up to 10 international money transfers per month, and open five accounts for their children for free.

The move aims to raise awareness of the company locally, according to Revolut's US CEO Ron OLIVEIRA. In March of this year, Revolut applied for a US banking license. The company sent a preliminary application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
