OpenBazaar to support Bitcoin Cash
OpenBazaar, the marketplace founded in 2016, now supports Bitcoin Cash ($1029 and growing), one of the most popular cryptocurrencies and #3 on Coinmarketcap before this place was taken by Ripple.
This marketplace was founded as a successor to the project at one of the hackathons, and that project called DarkMarket, in turn, was in response to the block of the notorious Silk Road marketplace. However, OpenBazaar is not Silk Road, as it does not sell anything illegal and it operates under the MIT license. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payments might still be illegal in some countries.
Bitcoin Cash is endorsed by some participants of the cryptocurrency market, namely Roger Ver, early Bitcoin enthusiast, and Dan Nathan from CNBC. They and other supporters argue that Bitcoin Cash was a real Bitcoin and it is more optimized for payments, while the original Bitcoin has become an obsolete collectible. Supporters of Bitcoin tell that the rival currency fans are not telling the truth and overall deny their arguments. The final word belongs to those companies which use crypto payments, and one can see that they are not giving up on the original Bitcoin just yet.
