Bitcoin hits $10,000 at Coinmarketcap

According to Coinmarketcap, the average price of Bitcoin is now $10085.50, which makes it an absolute all-time high. The achievement came after a huge price soar in the past few days.

Prices went up 28.65% since November 18th. After that, Bitcoin has surpassed the $8,000 mark, reached $9,000 and today, it has reached the astonishing $10,000 value per unit.

Before reaching the $10,000 price tag, prices went down 5.5% due to a sell-off on November, 27th, it caused the price to drop from $9771 to $9231. After 7 hours, on the same date, the prices returned to the same place they were.

Market capitalization was already up due to the recent prices. Experts, however, have already adverted that Bitcoin’s value may slightly decrease moments after it reached this historical landmark, due to financial maneuvers institutional investors who already demonstrated interest in cryptocurrency investment and trading (especially Bitcoin).
