Dexsport has formally introduced Prediction Markets, positioning them as a third product area alongside its sportsbook and casino after the feature first began appearing on the platform in August. Thousands of markets are now listed across sports, crypto, politics, economics, and other real-world events.

The basic idea is straightforward. Most markets are built around “Yes” and “No” positions, with prices changing as participants reassess how likely an outcome is. A position can be sold before the event is resolved or held until the final result is known, so the displayed price works as a constantly changing snapshot of market expectations rather than a fixed sportsbook price.

The range of questions is arguably the more interesting part. Some markets follow familiar territory, such as elections, crypto prices, interest rates, or major sporting events, while others turn much more specific pieces of online speculation into tradable outcomes.

One of the first Dexsport markets to attract attention outside the platform appeared in August, when rumors around Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez’s wedding prompted a question about whether longtime UFC rivals Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor would get into a physical confrontation if both attended. Participants put the probability at only around 4%, but the example showed how far the format could move beyond conventional sports or financial predictions.

Current markets stretch from championship winners and Bitcoin price levels to entertainment and technology releases. The common thread is simply that the outcome has to be clearly defined and verifiable once the market closes.

Prediction Markets Have Become Harder to Ignore

Dexsport is entering the category at a time when prediction markets are attracting significantly more activity than they did a year ago. Combined monthly trading volume across Kalshi, Polymarket, and Polymarket US reached $45.33 billion in August after setting a record in July.

That growth has also blurred some of the old category lines. Prediction markets still have strong roots in crypto and politics, but sports, macroeconomics, and entertainment now account for a growing share of the questions users encounter. At the same time, the format is increasingly appearing inside products that were not originally built as standalone prediction-market platforms.

For Dexsport, this is more than simply adding another betting section. When Cryptonews.net looked at the platform ahead of the 2026 World Cup, the focus was still largely on its sportsbook, casino, and the broader question of how Web3 betting differs from traditional operators. Prediction Markets now sit alongside those products as a separate vertical.

There is also a practical difference in how the product is read. A conventional sportsbook presents a line and a price; in a prediction market, the movement of the price becomes part of the story. New information can change what participants are willing to pay, making the market useful not only as a way to take a position but also as a live indication of how expectations are shifting.

That does not make the number a definitive forecast. Liquidity, participation, and the wording of a market still matter, especially with smaller or more unusual events, but that uncertainty is part of what distinguishes prediction markets from a fixed set of odds.

Another Addition to a Busy Year for Dexsport

Prediction Markets arrive after a series of other changes at Dexsport in 2026. The company became the headline sponsor and official betting sponsor of OG Esports’ Counter-Strike 2 roster, launched its DESU token on MEXC, and expanded its crypto payment options with Monero and Binance Pay.

Those updates have gradually broadened a platform that was previously much easier to describe simply as a crypto sportsbook and casino. Prediction Markets push it further toward a wider Web3 iGaming model in which sports betting, casino games, and event trading sit inside the same product. That run of product and partnership activity will continue into October, when members of the Dexsport team are due in Singapore for TOKEN2049 on October 7–8.

For now, the more interesting question is less whether prediction markets replace existing betting products than how often they begin appearing alongside them. Dexsport’s latest expansion offers another example of that overlap becoming part of the broader Web3 product mix.
