The police of Iceland have made an official inquiry to their colleagues in China about the stolen six hundred mining rigs, a crime that still puzzles the minds of the law enforcers. Reports cite the Iceland outlets which, in turn, refer to Jóhannes Jensson, local police commanding officer.

Moreover, the press of Iceland notes that Chinese authorities had recently arrested miners who did not pay for electricity and used exactly the same amount of mining rigs - 600. It is told that the local police had not seen the news about the arrest until recently and there had not been any response to the inquiry at the press time. It would be easy to find out if those Chinese apparatus belongs to Iceland entrepreneurs, as mining rigs’ components have serial numbers.

This news may easily be refuted in the near future, but the quantity coincidence is indeed worth investigating. After all, the law enforcers of Iceland seemingly do not have many leads. This massive theft has also been marked by an actual prison break - Sindri Thor Stefansson, suspect connected with the case, has even managed to flee the country. Eventually, he was arrested again.
