Binance to support Malta Stock Exchange startup platform

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance will support the initiative of the fiat Malta Stock Exchange - a new space for fintech startups and investments. This has been explicitly confirmed on Finance Magnates. Thomson Reuters is going to oversee the process, too. The same article tells about a completely new exchange platform with fiat and crypto operations which Binance plans to open in this offshore state.

The cooperation between Binance and Malta has started after the exchange decided to open a new headquarters in this country. Even the Prime Minister of the country has openly welcomed this crypto exchange, telling that Malta wants to become “the global trailblazers in the regulation”.

Binance has also recently been seen engaging with Bermuda the authorities of which have similar plans on cryptocurrency regulation. Overall, small states see cryptocurrency organizations as a good means of revenue, especially considering the fact that Binance has more profit in Q1 this year than the traditional Deutsche Bank.

Another offshore state, Gibraltar, has decided to open its own digital currency exchange, the information on this has been in the headlines two weeks ago.
