ZCash and JP Morgan collaboration brings positive results

18 October 2017 21:00, UTC

The zero-knowledge security layer that puts on the blockchain deals previously made outside of this environment has been jointly implemented by the programmers from ZCash teams and JP Morgan financial and banking experts to the Quorum structure. This will help JP Morgan, one of the world’s largest banks, to increase transactions anonymization as well. The technology is now fitted on top of Quorum, an Ethereum-based blockchain project that was under development within the offices of JP Morgan for some time.

Intentions of JP Morgan to collaborate with ZCash developers have been first stated in May on Consensus 2017 conference. As one can see from this news, the cooperation has proven to be fruitful.

Predictions of Brett King about banks cooperating with fintech experts for better development of the blockchain solutions are already coming true. And not even Jamie Dimon’s strict, consistent position on cryptocurrency being a fraud and insecure payment method (he has been telling so since 2015), not even this has changed the decision of JP Morgan to cooperate with those who previously developed cryptocurrency.
