What does the Bitcoin market think about 2018? LendEDU’s survey

13 December 2017 21:00, UTC

According to the latest survey posted by LendEDU, Bitcoin investors are optimistic about 2018. For example, they are certain that 2018 investment returns will exceed the returns of 2017 (76.99% of survey participants). They are even sure that next year, Bitcoin will be used by them for physical purchases despite its design (50%). What they are not sure is going to be good is the government’s hand in the Bitcoin market: 49% of participants said “No” and additional 20% are unsure about this.

While they expect growth, as obvious from the previous paragraph, the vast majority of Americans who participated in the survey want to buy more bitcoins next year (74.69%). Are they planning to buy during the prices over $20,000? Time will show how serious their intentions are. When it comes to selling bitcoins, 40% are not planning to do this, 31.5% are, and 28.5% unsure. The current price dynamics of Bitcoin clearly affects the plans of common investors, in case of sudden drop they might start thinking otherwise, as some observers note.

Over 500 American Bitcoin holders were surveyed, and the survey lasted from November 9th, 2017 to November 13th, 2017.
