Vitalik Buterin donates $2.4 million to center researching human diseases

The research foundation dedicated to the problems of aging and connected diseases gets the multimillion donation from none other than Vitalik Buterin, who created Ethereum, the second most successful cryptocurrency in the world.

SENS, or Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence is a set of therapies, invented or still under development, which are aimed to minimize the effect of age-related human diseases. The foundation’s annual report leads to believe that the project takes both its work and its accountability very seriously, with listing key members of each initiative they made in 2016 and describing these projects in rather long details.

Vitalik Buterin has always demonstrated skepticism towards questionable financial projects, therefore this donation must indicate that he views the work of the SENS important.

This information has been confirmed by a press release on the official website of the foundation and shared by most cryptocurrency-related media.

Meanwhile, Buterin himself prefers not to boast about this on Twitter and, as usual, warns of scams with imposters using his personality, discusses difficult mathematical problems and various coin concepts.
