Dash has announced a partnership with the VegaWallet platform to further expand operations and applications for blockchain-based payment protocols. Due to the partnership, VegaWallet is to become the first wallet to use BitGo’s multi-signature Dash implementation with InstantSend transactions; it also will be developing real world applications for Dash’s Evolution hard fork.

VegaWallet currently supports several features for Dash. The full system will include an inventory management system, business metrics, employee information panel, and other features, such as a cryptocurrency rewards and loyalty program powered by Dash and the VegaWallet Token.

Tarek HAJRI, CEO of VegaWallet, commented:
“VegaWallet’s partnership with Dash provides a unique atmosphere for improvement concerning real world applications in the blockchain based payments space. We believe customers will be excited for these future applications regarding the shared interests on our roadmap.”
Last year, Dash announced that BitGo, the market leader in institutional-grade cryptocurrency security, has added Dash to its list of digital currencies. As such, BitGo provided the first enterprise-class multi-signature wallet which enables institutions to safely leverage Dash at scale as part of their operations. VegaWallet is the first to leverage existing multi-signature Dash implementation in addition do Dash’s InstantSend technology, creating a secure wallet experience for users.
