The blockchain-as-service (BaaS) solution from VeChain existed since in 2016. The project included encryption of distributed ledgers, IoT, identity verification technology, etc. It was used by corporate customers from different spheres: automobile makers, the food industry, transport. The main customers who applied the solution are BMW, DB Schenker, and others.

Now VeChain allows customers to use AWS CloudFormation and develop dApps in one click mode — it collaborates with Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and Amazon CloudFront to implement the function.

The project was joined by the AWS Partner Network, as well as DNV GL. The latter is responsible for compliance, data security testing and digital identity verification. DNV GL refers to the security standards adopted throughout the world, such as ISO27001 and EU GDPR, as well as Chinese network security law.

At the time of writing, the capitalization of the VET token is more than $241 mln; the coin is on the 24th place of the rating.
