One of the major players on the gold market dives into the cryptocurrency market community. This became known after the company filed a corresponding report for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission responsible for regulating cryptocurrency firms and corporate projects. VanEck is one of the largest corporations focused on asset management and investment in the United States of America. At the press time, the company has approximately $38 billion in assets.

Founded in 1955, the corporation now has offices in the United States, Australia and Germany. The firm became interested in precious metals during the recent decades. Gold is its main investment instrument. However, VanEck has lately demonstrated interest in Bitcoin investment opportunities as well.

The reports suggest that the company is planning to open its brand ETF. A special investment fund will be created, then it would invest into Bitcoin futures contracts and will also be available for Nasdaq trading. Even those who never mined a single bitcoin in their lives will be able to invest into assets connected with this cryptocurrency. This is going to make a significant difference on the cryptocurrency market and will undoubtedly make it more popular.
