Tezos Foundation controversial director resigns

25 February 2018 21:00, UTC

The recent statement of Kathleen Breitman about the ICO of the Tezos project finally appearing on the horizon for some could have served as an indicator that the positions of Johann Gevers are weakening. Now he voluntarily resigns, even telling that he has managed to reach mutual understanding with other project managers.

The director of the Tezos Foundation depository Johann Gevers has not received a good appraisal from the founders of the cryptocurrency-related project, which put his fate as a high-ranking manager in jeopardy since the initial accusations about the “dictatorship style” of governance. One of the main critics were Kathleen Breitman and Arthur Breitman from the T2 Foundation.

Voluntarily or not, he is replaced by Ryan Jesperson. Notably, this person has deep connections with the T2 Foundation, which might indicate that the unity of this whole decentralized blockchain enterprise is strengthening.

Meanwhile, the project the name of which sound incredibly similar to Tezos, Tether, has been called a fraud scheme by investor Jordan Belfort, who is known as a prototype for The Wolf of Wall Street movie protagonist.
