The company has partnered with Bitpay to let users pay for the services with cryptocurrencies. Customers can use the AT&T online platform and their accounts to select Bitpay as an option to pay their bills. The vice president of AT&T’s communications finance business operations, Kevin McDORMAN, commented on news:
“We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services. We have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer.”
So far, this option is not available in AT&T stores, and cryptocurrency cannot be used to purchase mobile devices or products. The partnership with BitPay is currently limited only to paying bills of telecom company.
