Solana Announces New Crypto Smartphone and Web3 Development Kit

On June 23, Solana Labs CEO Anatoly YAKOVENKO announced in New York the launch of a Web3 software development kit called "Solana Mobile Stack (SMS)", as well as the delivery date of its new crypto smartphone "Solana Saga".

According to Yakovenko, the smartphone will cost around $1,000 and will be available for purchase early next year. The smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 6.67-inch OLED display, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, a Web3 decentralized application store, a mobile wallet called "Solana Pay" and a "Seed Vault" storage.

Solana Labs is accepting $100 deposits from anyone who wants to participate in the pre-sale. Participants will receive an NFT pass via email. However, priority is given to Solana developers.
