SiaCoin Network Updated, Hard Fork Launched

According to the official announcement, the Sia network is launching a hard fork and releasing a new version 1.5.4, which will be implemented with a block height of 298,000.

One of the popular crypto exchanges, Binance, released a statement mentioning that they are supporting the SiaCoin network upgrade and hard fork. The announcement also states that deposits and withdrawals will be suspended for a while, however trading will remain unchanged. The platform will also take care of all the technical requirements for all SiaCoin that the platform's clients already have. Deposits and withdrawals will resume when the updated network becomes stable.

At the end of January 2021, the increase in the SC price was more than 150%. The price rose from $0.004548 to $0.0100, which indicates a desire for a new all-time high. Over the past 24 hours, the SC price has climbed to $0.009706. At the time of writing, SC has dropped to $0.008465.
