Ripple gets to a record gigantic price of $1

20 December 2017 21:00, UTC

Ripple has become $1 per coin, Coinmarketcap tells. The all-time high achieved among the various news regarding traditional financial institutions’ interest towards the cross-border payment technology invented by the Ripple team. They actively cooperate with Japanese banks, for example, as 60 of them demonstrated interest towards this altcoin.

Some observers note that the shape of the cryptocurrency market can become very different during the following decade, with current leaders losing and new leaders emerging, as it happened to Yahoo and Google during the race of Internet search engines. Ripple has a potential to become one of the leaders, as currently, there are no huge scandals surrounding it like it happens with Monero, for example, and nobody ever heard of asset freezes similar to that Ethereum Parity disaster.

Anyway, the team of Ripple should better continue working on their altcoin promotion, because while the technology in the basis of this altcoin is interesting for banks, the altcoin itself is not - or else it would be much higher today.
