R3 Renews Partnership With Bangkok Bank

R3, an enterprise blockchain software company, will expand its presence in Thailand following renewed partnership with Bangkok Bank. The expansion will result in an increase of R3 staff in Thailand, highlighting R3's commitment to the Thai market and its local partners.

Previously, R3 and Bangkok Bank have worked jointly with various large-scale blockchain projects including Project Inthanon-Lionrock and Contour. The partnership with Bangkok Bank will support the continuous striving to improve its services through the use of the latest technology. The partnership will enable Bangkok Bank to leverage R3's flagship enterprise blockchain platform, Corda Enterprise, to streamline trade finance, capital markets and supply chain business operations. Bangkok Bank also plans to increase Corda training for its internal teams and explore new Corda-based solutions for commerce, payments and supply chain.
