Polkadot Sets New Price Record

The Polkadot Protocol DOT token price has risen more than 32% in the last 24 hours, setting a new all-time high at $12. The previous all-time high for the DOT was $11.60. According to data from CoinMarketCap, the token's market cap has surpassed the $10 bln threshold for the first time.
Polkadot is currently the 5th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, ranking between $13.3 bln XRP and $9.6 bln Litecoin.
Since launching its mainnet, Polkadot has attracted developers from projects like Moonbeam and KILT. By August 2020, DOT entered the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. A month later, its market capitalization exceeded $5 bln.
