PlayStation Conducted Survey About NFT

In a survey conducted by PlayStation at EVO 2022, participants were asked what they thought of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The intended purpose of the PlayStation survey is to measure consumer interest in digital collectibles and/or NFTs. Leading gaming giants such as Electronic Arts and Valve have abandoned NFT entirely. Gaming companies Square Enix and Ubisoft have taken a bold decision and switched to NFTs.

Currently, PlayStation remains neutral for now, refusing to support either side, although the motives behind the PlayStation survey are unclear, with many people speculating that the firm may be considering partnering with tokens. Online debates even suggest a link between PlayStation Stars and the NFT survey. Additionally, the survey seems to indicate that video game firms are increasingly interested in testing NFTs, or at least exploring alternative forms of monetization.

Earlier in August, jewelry company Tiffany&Co introduced a non-fungible token (NFT) that allows CryptoPunk holders to turn their NFTs into unique pendants covered in diamonds and precious stones. The name of the NFT collection is NFTiff. On August 8, Coca-Cola introduced new NFT collections built on the Polygon blockchain. Tafi, a company that designs digital avatars, has also created NFTs.
