The project lost money due to shady staking of NFTs from the Doodle collection. To carry out the attack, the attacker first deposited NFT as collateral for a loan in wETH. Once the loan was secured, the hacker withdrew all but one of the NFTs. This caused a callback that canceled the debt received when buying wETH.

The remaining NFTs on the platform were no longer enough to cover the resulting debt. Therefore, the position was liquidated by the system and the last NFT from Doodle was returned to the hacker. The OMNI team said the attack did not affect client funds as the misappropriated wETH were "internal testing funds."

The OMNI team has suspended the protocol and is currently investigating the cause of the attack. PeckShield and BlockSec claimed it was a reentrancy hack.
