Four days after the launch of the Eth2 staking service, clients of the popular American crypto exchange Kraken have deposited over 100,000 Ether worth over $60 mln. The exchange estimates that its staking services represent approximately 8% of all ETH staked for Ethereum 2.0 so far. Kraken estimates that the service will generate revenue between 5% and 17%.

Jeremy WELCH, management representative at Kraken, noted that Kraken was one of the first exchanges to list ETH in August 2015. He also added that ETH trading volume ranges from 15% to 40% of daily Bitcoin trading as of December 1st.

Kraken is not the only crypto exchange to offer staking service on Eth2 as a service. Binance, Huobi and Bitcoin Suisse launched their own services last week. OKEx also plans to launch its own service by the end of the month, and Coinbase is going to join in early 2021.
