Microsoft will help the government of the United States to store the most important information in the blockchain structures, CoinDesk reports. This service designed for the government security has been titled Azure Government Secret.
Some data centers of this company have been isolated, assessed by the government and given a status of Level 5 Department of Defense authorization. Such news might look strange if the reader is from the country where the government does not trust private companies so much, but let us not forget that the U.S. Department of Defense and government in general have a long history of business relations with private and respected corporations.
Meanwhile, the former CEO and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, is closely cooperating with Ripple. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have decided to fund a project that can result in a new way of cross-border financing of the world’s poorest people and nations. Other parties involved in this project are: Crosslake Technologies, Dwolla, ModusBox and Software Group.
