Kraken Cryptocurrency Exchange Adds Swiss Franc (CHF) to Trading Couples

The Kraken cryptocurrency exchange is adding a new fiat asset, this time the Swiss franc (CHF) — this was announced on its blog on December 5th. Kraken notes cooperation with Frick bank which is based in Liechtenstein the Swiss franc will join the register of fiat currencies that the exchange already supports with the help of the bank. Currently, the fiat currencies on the exchange include the US dollar (USD), Canadian dollar (CAD), Euro (EUR), British pound (GBP) and Japanese yen (JPY)

The Kraken team also stated that CHF trading launches today, on December 6th. Trading pairs between the Swiss franc and Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) will be deployed, additional trading pairs are to be announced.

Kraken also recently announced that it is joining the Silvergate (SEN) exchange network so that customers can deposit and withdraw US dollars from Silvergate accounts without a fee.

Speaking of the latest updates, Kraken also introduced the mobile version of its Kraken Future trading application, which was created earlier this year and was only available in a web browser. The application will be available on iOS and Android platforms.
