Justin Sun From Tron Announces Partnership With Liverpool FC

24 April 2019 11:17, UTC
The Tron project (TRX) has another great opportunity to grow in popularity thanks to a new partnership with the English Premier League football club Liverpool. Justin SUN, the founder of Tron, reported on his Twitter account about this news.

Despite the fact that the details of the partnership were not revealed, there is no doubt that this cooperation will allow the Tron project to outpace competitors significantly in terms of public awareness. However, representatives of the club have not yet commented on this information. To date, Liverpool FC is one of the candidates for the title of champion of the Premier League this season. Previously, the club has already shown interest in blockchain technologies and their implementation.

Collaboration with well-known brands is an important tool for increasing awareness and the adoption of cryptocurrency, and this is not the first high-profile partnership of Tron. Thus, the project signed an agreement with the computing giant Oracle in October 2018, and also acquired BitTorrent, consequently issuing BTT token for it. At the same time, Tron is often criticized for its excessive PR and marketing activity.
