John McAfee To Launch His Own Cryptocurrency

The notorious John MACAFEE announced a new cryptocurrency, which bears his name — the launch of McAfee Freedom Coin is planned for autumn 2019. The crypto maverick explained that the coin is not mined and there will be no ICO. He also said that he is not looking for investors and the coin will not be listed on an exchange.

When asked the question, what is the meaning of cryptocurrency then, John answered that the coin is associated with complete “economic freedom”. McAfee said that he and his team would not provide more information until the release of white paper, which has not yet been done. He confirmed that this venture is not a bluff and not a way to attract some attention.

McAfee published a one-pager explaining the McAfee Freedom Coin — it will employ a unique paradigm featuring a new structural concept. The token is based neither on any commodity, nor is connected to any other cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies. He termed his coin to have zero cash-in value, yet accepted globally. McAfee Freedom Coin can be purchased and transact between wallets but it will not trade on an exchange since it has no value against other cryptocurrencies.

The McAfee Freedom Coin is not the first crypto project floated by the crypto maverick. The antivirus expert is also reportedly behind the development of a new crypto debit card.
