Grayscale Closed A Deal To Buy ETH

According to analytical provider Bybt, on February 3, Grayscale closed a deal to buy another ETH lump in the amount of $76,060,100. Overall, the Grayscale Ethereum Trust holds 3 mln ETH, which is $4.91 bln.

On the morning of February 4, Ethereum made another all-time high, rising from $1,600 to $1,691. Among the reasons that pushed the second largest cryptocurrency to new ATHs were the growing amount of ETH in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract and the upcoming date for Ethereum futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), which is set for February 8th.

According to data provided by crypto tracker Whale Alert, a total of 1.019 mln ETH has been moved on the blockchain in the last 20 hours. This amounts to over $1,625,930,000. Transactions were mainly carried out between anonymous wallets in large lumps of over 20,000 ETH. The two largest ETH lumps sent were 93,000 coins each.
